BOOKSiE LALA is where stories come alive, music fills the air, and imaginations soar.
At BOOKSiE LALA, our mission is to create a joyful and nurturing space where children and families can come together to explore the wonders of music, arts, and literature. We believe in the magic of shared experiences and the power of creativity to bring people closer.
Emily Arrow, founder of BOOKSiE LALA, is a teacher, author, and award-winning songwriter. With 15 years of teaching experience, certification in Orff Schulwerk music education, and a degree from Berklee College of Music, Emily’s passion for creative expression and early childhood music education is at the heart of everything we do at BOOKSiE LALA.
INTEGRATING
MUSIC + LITERACY
I enrich literacy experiences by crafting songs inspired by beloved children's books and creating engaging videos, audio, and learning resources. I aim to foster a love for reading and storytelling, highlighting diverse perspectives and narratives.
INCLUSIVE
LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS
I aim to cultivate learning environments where every child's identity is respected and celebrated, advocating for expanded gender perspectives and fostering empathy and understanding. As a teacher, I use the title “Mx. Emily” to model the importance of gender inclusivity.
